Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Entry level Engineer position with opportunity for growth and diverse experience with a widespread environmental engineering company. Duties will include aiding in preparation of environmental documents (remedial investigations, feasibility studies, operations and maintenance plans/reports, etc.), preparation of engineering plans and specifications and work plans under the supervision of a senior engineer. Engineering tasks will deal primarily with process type work, specifically groundwater pump and treat systems, in-situ chemical oxidation systems, air sparging and soil vapor extraction systems. Field work will include collection of environmental samples (soil, air, water, etc.), oversight of subcontractors (drilling, environmental remediation, etc.).
Requirements: BS in civil/environmental or chemical engineering with 1-3 years experience. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required. Engineer-in-Training certification (EIT), HAZWOPER certification, and GIS experience a plus.
Job Conditions/Environment: Normal office and field work, may require overnight travel.
