Engine Technician/Mechanic, Assoc Degree

Purpose: Aerotek Automotive is currently seeking an Engine Technician for a long term job opportunity for one of the Big 3 automakers.



This Engine Technician/Engine Mechanic will be working in a garage setting performing mechanical support for product development and experimental engineering. This technician will perform diagnosis and repair on engines and vehicle powertrain systems. They will do MIG and TIG welding, use general electrical/electronic tools, and use MS Word.



Candidates for this position MUST have a technical Associate'S Degree. This technician must have good engine/powertrain mechanic experience, knowledge of all vehicle systems, MIG and TIG welding skills, some machining experience and knowledge of instrumentation.



Candidates for this position also must have a valid drivers, be able to pass a hair follicle drug test, and be able to pass a background check.



Candidates also must be shift flexible and have their own tools.
