Engine Technician

Purpose: Aerotek Automotive is currently seeking an Engine Technician for a long term contract opportunity with on of the Big 3.

This technician will be working in a garage setting performing various mechanical tasks on engine and powertrain systems. They will be supporting experimental engine development work. This technician will perform engine teardowns and rebuilds, swap parts and do diagnostics. They will also hook up instrumentation and support vehicle testing.

Candidates for this position must have at least seven years of mechanic experience. They must be familiar will all major vehicle systems with an emphasis on powertrain. They also must know instrumentation.

Candidates for this position also must be shift flexible.

This is a long term position.
