Today Carrier Corporation leads the world in the manufacture and sale of heating, ventilating, refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC systems and products.We currently seek an Applications Engineer to coordinate engineering efforts associated with the application of bus air conditioning products. This includes working with Sales and the OEM to insure proper unit selection for each application, as well as direct interface with the customer regarding electrical, structural, piping and air distribution requirements. Responsibilities include evaluating, selecting and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment in creating and/or adapting equipment designs and modifications. In support of this effort, system modeling using a desktop integrated modeling tool will be utilized to insure proper system component selection for the specific bus application. Additional responsibilities include providing support to manufacturing, drafting, purchasing, quality and product problem resolution teams.
