Emission Testing Scientist

EMISSION TESTING SCIENTISTAIR MEASUREMENTS DIVISION

TRC is a leading national firm providing premier environmental and engineering consulting services to clients in the industrial, commercial, and government sectors.

We have immediate openings for an Emission Testing Scientist in our Air Measurements Division of our Lowell, Massachusetts’ office. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting projects involving air pollution measurements on industrial processes and preparing data tables and engineering reports. The candidate must have willingness to set-up, operate and troubleshoot sampling-equipment under often-adverse field conditions.

Proficiency with EPA test methods 1-4, 5, 6C, 7E, 10, and 25A which use electronic gas analyzers and computerized data acquisition systems, a 4-year degree in science (or equivalent), 3-5 years experience, good mechanical aptitude, exceptional communication and troubleshooting skills, proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing, and a willingness to travel and work in industrial environments required.
