Embedded Systems Engineer

Purpose: Aerotek Engineering is looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer with the following qualifications:

-BSEE or MSEE
-5+ years of proven proficiency in hardware and software design
-Experience programming C on embedded microcontrollers
-PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Design

You would be responsible for the design of Electronic Controls for Consumer Product. Your duties will include designing test fixtures/apparatuses during new product development, selecting and testing electronic components and systems for new products, liaison with other design engineers, manufacturing, quality and service personnel and component suppliers. You will perform Failure Mode Effects and Analysis and reliability testing and assist in Safety Audits. You will be responsible for launching Engineering documentation and scheduling during new product development. You will be responsible from cradle to grave.
