Embedded Software Verification Engineer

Purpose: A small Aerospace related engineering firm is in need of a Software Verification Engineer for a six month contract in Albuquerque, NM.

The individual in this role will be responsible for developing, debugging and executing embedded avionics software systems conforming to DO-178B standard. Responsibilities will include executing and documenting test cases, procedures, results for embedded avionics systems. Software design and development will be completed using C/C++ and Visual Studio. The successful candidate will be familiar with C/C++, automated testing, microprocessors/microcontrollers and the use of lab equipment such as emulators, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree and 5 years related experience. Qualified person should have Avionics experience and a working knowledge of DO-178B software engineering processes and development standards. Experience in the medical industry, aerospace and automotive will also be considered. Experience with UML, Visual Studio and VectorCAST is highly desirable.

This is a six month contract opportunity and does have the possibility of becoming a permanent position. If interested please email resume in word format.
