Embedded Design Engineer

Purpose: A manufacturing company located in the Elk Grove Village area is looking for an Embedded Design Engineer to join their team immediately on a contract-to-hire basis.

Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for circuit board design, parts research/selection, cost estimation, verification, and support.
Will be creating design outputs including:
Specification create from sales and customer inputs.
Circuit design using both digital and analog circuits.
Schematic Capture.
ECOs.
BOMs.
Will be researching component procurement and component EOL (End of Life) status.

Requirements:
MUST have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
MUST be proficient with OrCAD schematic capture and IPC design specifications.
Proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB layout software is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with AC and DC circuits.
Experience with AutoCAD 2000 or 2004.
Electronics assembly and repair is a plus.
