ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN – INSPECTOR
CUSTOMER REPAIR - 2ND SHIFT

Garmin produces some of the world's leading GPS navigation and communication products. And to make cutting-edge products, we need the best and brightest on our team. We currently have openings on our 2nd shift for Electronics Technician - Inspectors in our Customer Repair department.

Qualified candidates are experienced in applying electrical theory and electrical testing procedures in tracing circuits of defective aviation units to locate defects and repair them. Responsibilities include troubleshooting units to the component level, adjusting, calibrating, aligning, and modifying circuitry and components to repair the units, discussing layout and assembly problems with management to clarify problems encountered while repairing product, recommending changes in circuitry or installation specifications to improve assembly, test method, and product performance, plus analyzing, interpreting, and recording test, procedure, and repair history data.

Qualified candidates will possess an Associate of Arts degree in Electronics Technology, a related field, military training, or equivalent experience and keen test and diagnostic capabilities. A passing score on the General Electronics Technician test plus strong communication skills and respectful interpersonal skills are a must!
