Electronics Materials Account Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:A Fortune 500 Chemical Manufacturer is seeking an Account/Sales Manager for their Northern California (Bay Area) Territory.This in an Intermediate to Senior level sales position focused on increasing company's electronics sales within the California Region of the USA. Plans how to establish and maintain regional account relationships at both smaller regionally based accounts, as well as larger Multinational Accounts. Develops business plan, coordinates with other internal groups, develops knowledge and data of their accounts business, develops proposals, and works generally to grow sales revenues and profits and meet sales targets. Ability to understand existing and new customer technical and commercial requirements for company's product offerings. Have knowledge of competitors strength and weaknesses. Prepare weekly and/or monthly regional reports, monthly forecasts and quarterly regional status as required. 40% domestic travel within Region. 5% travel Nationally for various sales events, meetings, Training etc. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidates must have at least 2-3 years of sales experience for a chemical supplier to the semiconductor industry or with an OEM Capital Equipment Vendor (Applied Materials, ASML, Canon, Nikon, LAM, Novellus, Tokyo Electron, Ebara, etc.).Must be willing to travel.A 4 year technical degree is also required (BSChemE, Chemistry, Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering).
