Electronics Engineer III

Purpose: Our client, who specializes in the design and manufacturing of custom power subsystems, is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their tram.

In this position you will be responsible for the engineering part of a major project or an entire project of lesser complexity. Performs engineering work and applied research, development, and design of new products. Work includes design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment or devices. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests. May provide technical supervision to lower level engineers and other technical personnel, and may be responsible for the administrative duties of a small work group, although the engineering is more important than the supervision aspect.

This position requires a person with a high level of expertise in power electrical / electronic design. A BSEE is desired. Must have 8+ years experience in electrical engineering.

Demonstrated personal and project leadership skills are required for this position. Have very good verbal and written skills. The position requires a person with moderate to advanced computer operation skills. Ability to use computer tools such as ACAD, PSPICE, Access, Word, Excel, Infoflo, and comparable programs. Strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts and resolve problems with external and internal customers and the ability to manage several tasks at one time and handle stressful situations.
