Electronics Design Engineer

Validus is seeking an energetic-innovative engineering professional to join our technical design team. This individual must have a BSEE or MSEE with at least 5 years engineering experience in analog electronics, RFID hardware design, and antenna design; ELF & LF experience a plus. Technical requirements include extensive hardware with some firmware development experience; high-level systems integration, component technology assessments, schematic capture, BOM costing-management, PCB layout knowledge, and electronic manufacture experience. This individual must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate in technical and business domains.

REQUIREMENTS
Extensive electronics design experience--analog and high speed digital circuit design, including PCB layout experience from research to production domains. Project ownership and management required with the ability to design and manage multiple complex projects. Research, design and life-cycle experience required. Experience with intentional and non-intentional radiation compliance testing and design a plus. Electromagnetic simulation experience also a plus. RF expertize always a plus.
