Troubleshoots, tests, and assembles electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies. Assists in configuring, preparing, maintaining, utilizing, and or designing test stations and test equipment. Performs test with instructions and documentation. May do light assembly of electronic components, wiring harnesses, connectors, and mechanical assemblies.Posted: 6/22/2006

REQUIREMENTS
Basic knowledge of electro/mechanical components. General knowledge of digital/analog circuit theory. Basic skills on soldering and assembling of electronic components. Ability to perform component level troubleshooting. Proficient in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other basic instruments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, electronic schematics, and parts lists. Must be able to repair IC boards through soldering and assembling of electronic components not just be able to replace the board.
