Electronic Soldering Technician

Purpose: Major Regional Electronic Services Company is looking for knowledgeable electronics repair technicians for their South Louisville location.

This is a first shift position working 6am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday with overtime on Friday and Saturday as necessary.



Performs functional troubleshooting.

Performs electronic troubleshooting to the component level.

Able to read and understand schematic diagrams.

Replaces PNP functional components as needed. Capable to replace leaded/wired/flex soldered components.

Capable to use re flow techniques to repair surface mount defects. Assures compliance with quality requirements.



Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and knowledge:

High School diploma. Certification of soldering skill in SMTA/IPC/R&M 2000 is strongly preferred. Must be able to demonstrate understanding of common circuits and theory using schematic diagrams. Good oral and written communication skills.

An Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field is required.



This is a great opportunity for entry level technicians.

Candidates must be flexible to work 40 to 60 hours per week.
