Electronic Design Engineer

Purpose: Aerotek Contract Engineering is currently looking for a Senior and Junior Electronic Design Engineer to work in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities:
-Design digital, analog and power management circuits as well as advanced embedded systems
-Develop, construct, modify and improve custom electronic circuits and assemblies utilizing fundamental electronic design techniques
-Prepare schematics, assembly drawings, parts lists, and other documentation
-Hands-on assembly of and modifications to electronic and electromechanical systems
-Analysis of complex functions, procedures and problems to find creative, logical and effective solutions


Requirements:
-BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
-Minimum 5 years experience for senior level position
-Electrical and Mechanical prototyping experience preferred
-Candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
-Schematic capture and board layout experience
-Experience using board layout software (PowerPCB-2005 or equivalent) to layout circuits within tight and unusual mechanical constraints
