Electrical Reliability Engineer

Position Summary:

The Seaford Delaware site is a world class manufacturing facility for the manufacture of Nylon-6,6. We are about 45 minutes from the Delaware and Maryland coast beaches and 1.5-2.5 hours from Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Philadelphia, PA. The Seaford area offers an excellent quality of life with the beach, bay and metro cities right at your fingertips. You will work as part of a team improving the reliability of instrumentation and electrical equipment.



Responsibilities:

Work in a team environment with operators, mechanics, and professionals

Develop in depth knowledge of electrical systems and equipment

Analyze reliability in design, cost, and production

Develop methods and measures of analysis

Drive root cause failure analysis in electrical equipment and implement reliability
improvements

Develop reliability programs

Develop maintenance and reliability skills throughout the maintenance organization

Implement Best Practices for maintenance of control and distribution equipment

Lead major level capital equipment replacement projects

Provide equipment specific Preventive and Predictive Maintenance and repair procedures
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum skills required:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

5 or more years plant experience in instrument and electrical engineering discipline

Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work effectively with all personnel regardless of function/level

Demonstrated ability to work strategically as well as the detail level

Demonstrated understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance technologies

Strong organization and planning skills

Results oriented



Preferred:

Experience with variable speed drives, Allen Bradley PLC’s and Honeywell DCS systems.
