The McDonald's Corporation has an exciting opportunity as an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Project Manager for the World Wide Engineering Group. This individual will report to the Director of Strategic Technology and will be responsible for the project design, development and management of system solutions for the global restaurant kitchen equipment applications.

Position Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the project design, development, and management of global restaurant kitchen equipment applications
* Ensures and manages the overall quality, capacity, performance specifications, cost, and system fit of McDonald's current and next generation equipment
* Works within a systematic development process integrated with key internal and external customers
* Develops work plans, budget, and deadline deliverables
* Participates in corporate initiatives, leads major department initiatives or mission critical projects under limited direction
* Applies advanced technical and system knowledge to develop recommendations and to guide and influence others in multi-product programs
* Acts as a subject matter expert who provides consultation on decisions, recommendations, and project management with/to divisions, regions, operators, suppliers, and Home Office departments
* Conducts field testing of restaurant equipment & systems
* Stays abreast of technology trends and best practices in area of expertise
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSEE or BSME)
* 5 years of experience in design, prototyping, and implementing electric, electronic, and/or mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
* 2 years experience in Project Management-engineering
* Strong background in product design, lean manufacturing and/or value engineering
* User-focused control design and SMART equipment communication systems experience desirable
* Ability to build relationships with key external and internal customers by means of strong communication, oral, and consultation skills
* Use of Microsoft Project tool
* Manufacturing experience desirable
* Innovation culture and international experience desirable
