Electrical / Instrumentation Designer with AutoCAD

SENIOR ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION DESGINERS

We have several openings for ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION DESIGNERS with a minimum of 7 years experience in Power or Oil & Gas production, Waste Water Treatment, Petrochemicals or related industry.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience should include: proficiency in AutoCAD 2002 or 2005; knowledge of AutoPLANT 3D desirable, but not required; field investigations to complete electrical/instrumentation audits and to verify as-builts; some knowledge of databases is desired and knowledge of MS VISIO software is desirable, but not required. Incumbents must have high organizational skills.

PC proficient in Windows 95, MS Word, MS Excel and File Management capabilities.

Responsibilities include: provide CAD drafting for instrumentation, control systems and electrical drawings and assemble work packages for all instrumentation/electrical related drawings; provide CAD drafting to update P&IDs and instrumentation/electrical drawings to an As-Built status; should be able to read instrumentation/electrical symbols, devices and control loops shown on P&IDs; work under the direct supervision of a Senior Designer and provide basic design including loop sheets, wiring schematics, electrical one line diagrams, conduit routing, junction box drawings, cable schedules, equipment relocation, and installation details. Refinery on-site position requires some fieldwork to verify as-builts.
