Electrical Group Manager
Compensation: There is assistance available for relocation. Our Detroit Building Programs group is searching for an Electrical Group Manager to join their team. In this position, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
Managing a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians for the purpose of producing profitable projects
Maintaining effective relationship with clients
Preparing and presenting proposals, and meets with clients
Establishing and maintaining project criteria and communicating same to project team, clients and others involved
Establishing and monitoring internal budgets and project schedules
Developing complete and accurate project documents on time and within the construction budget
Administering the architectural/engineering services of their respective group (i.e. civil, mechanical, electrical) during the construction phase
Motivating team personnel toward performance excellence in all assigned tasks
Evaluating team personnel and recommending salary changes, position adjustments and/or promotions
Providing manpower forecasts and projecting team requirements on a continuing basis
Participating in the selection, discipline and/or discharge of team personnel
Formulating and administering team polices and procedures
Performing other duties as assigned
