Electrical Engineers and Senior Electrical Engineers

Dynamic, growing electronics company seeks Electrical Engineers to join their facility in the greater Phoenix area. Senior level engineering opportunities are also available, depending on experience. These engineering roles will be responsible for power supply electronic development and analysis in the Power Product area. This will include designing cutting-edge AC/DC switching power supplies and DC/DC converters as well as exploring new methods of power conversion, packaging and cooling.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•BS degree in Electrical Engineering
•5 to 7 years experience in power supplies
•Must be a team-oriented engineer with excellent communication skills, a sincere interest in customers
•For the Senior level roles, ability to lead and mentor engineers is required
•Must enjoy a fast paced business and development environment
•Requires a solid academic foundation in the fundamentals of analog circuit design
•Must have experience in the design and analysis of fundamental switching regulator and converter topologies
•Must enjoy hands-on electronic circuit work and design proving in the lab without technician assistance
•Must be able to use spreadsheet based analysis programs such as Excel or Power 4-5-6, and also be familiar with or be willing to learn Spice based simulation programs
•Loop stability analysis and loop compensation techniques will also be a job requirement
•Must be very familiar with layout techniques for successful high power conversion with high efficiency and proper cooling in mind
•Transformer and inductor design skills mandatory
•Travel to the Far East may be required.
