Purpose: Position: Electrical Engineer (Building Facility Power & Lighting)

Location: Sacramento

Salary: $65K-$75K/yr DOE+ bonuses and benefits

Leading Sacramento, Architectural & Engineering firm specializing in national and regional retail, restaurant, and medical facility projects, actively seeks Electrical Engineer with department management experience. This is an exciting opportunity to be instrumental in establishing a new in-house Electrical Engineering Department.

Ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical design and documentation preparation of retail, restaurant, or commercial projects. Must be a self-starter with the ability to develop a department; be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate with other disciplines, staff, and clients. This position requires a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, California Title 24 Energy requirements, and the National Fire Alarm Code. Must be proficient at AutoCAD 2000 or higher.
