Electrical Engineer / HW Engineer

Purpose: Our client is looking to bring in a full time HW Engineer that will be working on the design of a motion control system for a new 3D CAD/CAM system. This motion control system will provide up to five axes of coordinated motion and is manufactured exclusively for the dental industry

Responsibilities
-The Design of stepper/servo motor-based motion control systems including power driver stages
-Design a motion control system using analog, digital and programmable logic.
-Proof of concept prototype, schematic capture and testing.

Requirements
-BS/MSEE with at least 5-8 years of hands on experience in analog and digital BOARD level design
-Strong analog design skills with experience in designing motor drives preferred.
-Strong digital design skills, experience in designing systems with FPGAs and embedded microcontrollers preferred.
-Experience designing servo and/or stepper motor drives using DSP a plus.
-High degree of self-motivation and ability to work in a team environment with minimal direction.Classification:Full-TimeCompensation:
