Electrical Engineer ($60K-$70K DOE) - Eastern PA

Our client, a well-established firm within the Engineering Industry, is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to manage and design the electrical component of Civil, Industrial, Transportation or Buildings related projects.

The ideal candidate:
·Develops the project scope and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) of a potential project.
·Prepares the project proposal estimating engineering costs, determining engineering disciplines needed and forecasting total resources required for the project
·Prepares and monitors project budget. Has overall responsibility for the profitability of his/her project.
·Monitors project throughout all phases ensuring project schedules and budget compliance. Prepares, reviews, analyzes status reports making adjustments with resources, costs, plans, schedules etc. as required.
·Attends client meetings, communicating concerns and changes with the client in order to ensure a positive relationship.
·Controls work-in-process, ensures accurate client billings, and monitors outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on his/her projects.
·Performs and monitors all design functions related to electrical engineering projects, and electrical aspects of other projects.
·Writes project specifications (non-technical and technical sections)
·Prepares technical reports and studies.





*Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university plus five years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Experience in estimating Engineering and Construction costs, developing project scopes, reading blueprints, writing proposals, writing technical reports, performing engineering studies and managing multi-discipline projects as well as managing the work of a diverse group of people.
*PE Registration preferred.
