Our Automation Dept works on a variety of interesting projects for many Fortune 500 customers requiring design-build automation projects. This position is responsible for but not limited to: designing, developing, and supervising all aspects to develop electrical control systems and equipment. This includes knowledge of NEC code as well as familiarity with UL and CASS div I requirements. This position is responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software with their related instrumentation and would assist with occasional estimating of a project or expansion to an existing project as needed. Candidates are to perform a variety of tasks relying upon their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while reporting to the Automation manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Candidates to have 2-4 yrs field experience. As a Rockwell Strategic Partner and System Integrator, candidates are required to have knowledge of Allen Bradley hard and software as well as a fundamental knowledge of Visual Basic programming. Familiarity with most of the following: P&ID analysis, liquid and dry processing, material handling, process instrumentation and CIP systems desired.
