EVM Engineer

AT&T Government Solutions National Information Systems (NIS) is seeking a technical lead with strong Earned Value Management (EVM) background to work in the newly formed NIS Earned Value Management (EVM) Group. The candidate must have experience with EVM, Resource Planning, Program Management, and Control and Cost Accounting. They must also have experience with the Micro Frame Program Manager (MPM), Costpoint, and Microsoft Project tools.Candidates for this position must support multiple projects providing oversight and assistance with project plans, estimates, baseline budgets, and identifying risk. They will train program managers and cost account managers to analyze program performance, maintain earned value metrics, and provide cost schedule and status reporting to customers. They will support internal program reviews as well as customer reviews and certification evaluations. They will also support proposals by providing baseline documentation, certification evidence, and metrics that support forecasts. This job requires strong writing and verbal communication skills.Skills -Strong background in project management, scheduling, earned value and control account planning concepts. -Ability to build and teach others to build major program plans including WBS, OBS schedule, resources and linkages using MS Project. -Ability to assess priorities in a complex and demanding environment. -Ability to status schedule milestones, develop estimates to complete, process scope changes, analyze cost and schedule variances. -Ability to support requirement of several teams and maintain data integrity. -Proficient with current computer applications, i.e. MS Project, Micro Frame Program Manager (MPM), and Costpoint.Expected to be a long-term core position.Job Title: EVM Manager
