ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Position Summary:
Develop, design, gather information, and perform all data entry for new Special Product implementation under the direction of the Group Manager – Sustaining Engineering.


Qualifications:

*Engineering Degree preferred or comparable experience
*Pro-E modeling and drawing experience (Pro-E Wildfire 2.0 a plus)
*AutoCAD experience a plus
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
*Knowledge of data entry operations, Bills of Materials, manufacturing job routing
*Understanding of shop floor manufacturing processes
*Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:

*Coordinate the daily Specials activities working closely with the Product Line Managers
*Verify correctness, update, and correct Pro-E and legacy drawings as required
*On new Special Products, coordinate the complete cycle of implementation: (design, customization, drawing, production, planning, tooling, JDE data entry, etc.)
*Coordinate the drawing workload as required using Sustaining Engineering resources
*Work with Design Engineering Group as required
*Ensure all processes in area comply with ISO 9001 guidelines
