A Fortune 500 Company and Manufacturer has a need for an Engineering Manager for their Atlanta Operations.

Job Description:

1. Responsible for training, motivating and maintaining a high level of safety for all Engineering Department employees to provide for an efficient operation consistent with overall company safety objectives.
2. Responsible for the safety, quality and cost goal achievement within the Engineering Department.
3. Directs the overall Engineering Department maintenance of all equipment and facilities so that the plant remains in good operating order, consistent with standards and with a minimum of mechanical down-time.
4. Responsible for the coordination and implementation of all safety programs and OSHA and EPA regulatory programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with prior Project Engineering experience.
2. 3 – 5 years engineering experience, project engineering and leadership.
3. Must demonstrate strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), decision making and people handling skills and the ability to work in a diverse workforce environment.
4. Must have demonstrated abilities to operate within a planned budget and manage cost within established goals.
5. Motivator with a high level of organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
6. Knowledgeable with safety compliance programs with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and housekeeping.
7. Must be open to relocation.
