ENGINEERING FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER Leica Microsystems, Inc., is an interna tionally renowned manufacturer and distributor of pathology diagnostic sci entific instrumentation. See our web site at: www.leica-microsystems.com We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated professional with strong engineering and technical trou bleshooting skills. The selected candi date will provide service and support for our Histology products in clinical and research laboratories. Territory will include Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Long Island, Queens and Staten Island. The ideal candidate will live in one of the five boroughs, not in cluding Long Island. Qualified applicants should possess field-engineering experience, excep tional communication and interperson al skills. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic and refrigeration equipment is preferred. Ideal work ex perience should include 3-8 years ser vice/repair experience, preferably with clinical equipment, with 2-4 years expe rience in life science equipment repair. Candidate should possess an ASET/ BSET, ASEE/BSEE degree or equiva lent. This position requires 60% monthly travel, up to 80%.
