ENGINEER I

We are committed to making a difference in these critical areas by providing technical services that solve such global challenges.SUMMARY: Junior engineer working under close supervision of senior engineers, responsible for providing engineering support related to environmental and hazardous waste projects including investigations, assessments, engineering studies, designs, and construction-phase services. May support other office activities related to environmental engineering consulting operations such as client interactions, preparation of statement of qualifications and proposals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Perform engineering calculations in support of design and construction/remediation projects.
Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, test data, aerial photographs and other technical information.
Calculate costs and determine feasibility of remediation technologies.
Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, specifications, construction schedules, and designs for projects.

REQUIREMENTS
Zero to one year professional experience preferred. An Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is desired. Knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, CAA, NEPA and UST) is beneficial.
