ENGINEER/FURNACE/QUALITY/MACHINIST

SMITHS AEROSPACE COMPONENTS TERRE HAUTE a leading supplier for complex and machined and fabricated products in the Aerospace industry since 1955, has career opportunities for the following positions:

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER: Candidate must have 3-5 years of direct aerospace component manufacturing experience in a build to print business.

FURNACE SPECIALIST: Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years experience in the set-up and operation of vacuum furnaces.

FURNACE OPERATORS: Successful candidates will have knowledge of required tooling for furnace loads, brazing process and the equipment that makes up the furnace and the functions. Candidate must have a minimum of a year heat treat experience.

CNC MACHINISTS: Required skills include ability to read and comprehend blueprints, procedural manuals, calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors. Candidate must have a minimum of a year machining experience.

CUSTOMER RELEASE AGENT: Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in quality, specifically in aerospace. Successful candidate will have knowledge of precision measuring equipment and GD&T.
