EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Position 1: EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Location: NORTHBROOK, IL
Type: Permanent
Requirements:
Able to design and develop algorithms for motion control using both
dc and stepper motors using C/C++, knowledge of on/off, proportional,
PI as well PID loops. Working knowledge of AVR (8 bit)
microcontrollers as well as ARM (32 bit) microcontrollers (ATMEL
microcontrollers). Knowledge of the required hardware tools needed in
the development and debugging of embedded software.
Must have at least 5 years of process control development including
motion control.
Great to have:
Network Aware applications, Serial Communications, Embedded Software,
Video integration, USB integration, experience in product
development, hands on circuit design or prototyping
Some travel (1 day per month), needs to at least have a Green Card or
be a US citizen to get "secret" security clearance. Drug screen will
be required.
