ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLER - Soldering, Word, Excel required

ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLER with SURFACE MOUNT SOLDERING EXPERIENCE needed to assemble SMT based subassemblies. Responsibilities include set up, maintenance, and operation of a manual Pick And Place machine, solder paste machine, and SMT Reflow oven. Must be able to perform touch up of SMT circuit boards using hand-soldering stations. Proficiency in SMT rework desired. Must be able to pass a required certification test for IPC standards. Must demonstrate ability to work within the team to achieve quality performance goals. Requires use of computer based documentation system, as well as general use of email and Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Must be flexible with hours and shift coverage, and be able to communicate openly and clearly.








Qualifications





High School education or GED equivalent. Minimum 3 years related experience.


Ability to operate a manual Pick And Place machine, solder paste machine, and SMT Rework station


Read and interpret drawings and assembly instructions


Strong computer skills – EDOC system, email, Word, EXCEL


Use of Visual Manufacturing MRP system


IPC Certification


Must be well organized, pay attention to detail, and be able to work with little supervision


General knowledge of chemical, safety, 5S, and ESD procedures


Position requires normal physical duties associated with assembly.


Must be able to lift a maximum of 35 pounds.
