ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN Longwood Gardens, Inc., the world's premier horticultural display garden, located in Kennett Square, PA, has an opening for an Electronics Technician. Primary responsibilities are to maintain, repair, troubleshoot and install radio transmission and reception equipment, fire alarm and security systems, digital and analog telecommunications systems, and gas and carbon monoxide detection equipment. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Electrical Division with project work, and maintenance issues that require working with low voltage to medium voltage electrical services and equipment. The successful candidate will have a degree or certificate in electronics with a minimum of 5 years experience in electronics maintenance. Knowledge of PC operation, computer repair, computer softwares, programming and the ability to read schematic and scaled drawings is required. Excellent coordination, and verbal & written communication skills is a must. PLC programming and Nicet certification is a plus.
