Associate will be a member of a central group responsible for global regulatory compliance of BASF products.  Team members use and manage data in global systems including assurance of data integrity within those systems.  The associate will have the opportunity to work with several global business units within BASF. Knowledge of product regulatory implications and understanding the impact within specific business areas will be required
REQUIREMENTS


The candidate must be a self-starter, who can work independently with only general supervision.  He/she should be customer focused and have good communication skills to work with individuals in different business units.  Good problem solving and analytical skills required.

 

Chemistry degree/ background.

 

In addition, experience in the following areas would differentiate the candidate:

         SAP Skills

         Experience with Microsoft Access databases

         Product regulatory experience:  TSCA, DEA

         Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to chemicals

         Knowledge of global regulations pertain to chemicals, especially Canadian regulations

         Hazcom knowledge
