EDI Coordinator

Vcommerce is looking for an EDI Project Manager to help extend its industry leading web-based commerce platform.

Our privately owned company faces astronomical growth. We serve multi-billion retailers with an industry-leading e-commerce software-on-demand solution and a recurring revenue business model. A sample of key clients includes Overstock.com, Target, Sony, MTV, Comedy Central, BJ’s Wholesale Club and David’s Bridal.

Responsibilities include:
•Project management, resource allocation and monitoring of daily EDI activities
•Work with trading partners (suppliers/vendors and clients) and IT personnel as needed to coordinate new systems integrations between Vcommerce and other companies
•Analysis of external and internal data formats and protocols
•Assisting with the writing of or revision to program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills & Experience:
•1-2 years of EDI experience
•2-4 years of project management and/or program coordination and oversight
•Preferably familiar with XML technologies as well as experience with security and encryption
•Good communication and personal skills: ability to interact and work well with members of other functional groups in a project team

Desired Skills:
•Project Management
•Experience with Gentran Server product a huge plus
•Knowledge of SQL database concepts a plus
•Linux experience a plus
•Experience in using source code control systems
