EC078 - Test Engineer, Lead I

Required to modify, maintain, and troubleshoot existing vacuum steam injection, cooling water, high pressure gas (O2, N2, & Ar), liquid nitrogen, hydraulic, boiler, and arc heater systems Project/test team member Confer with vendors on requirements; prepare procurement documentation; write and revise procedures and reports; deliver oral presentations; prepare project schedules and cost estimates; write and revise system hazard analyses; and stand duty station during tests Oversee the work of subcontractors and technical staff associated with facility operations and maintenance Conform and support all NASA , JSC, & MEI safety requirements and procedures May require other duties as assigned EEO/AA REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of engineering experience Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project Experience with Pro-E or similar engineering design system, highly desired Must have US Citizenship
