EAI Architect

The EAI Architect/Developer will be responsible for the EAI application and development area.

Responsibilities include:

•Define the application architecture for the integration of systems, and work with the development and infrastructure organizations to ensure a successful implementation,

•Manage and define migration processes between existing environments and new technology,

•Plan and execute webMethods and/or webSphere MQ software upgrades and fixes as appropriate,

•Provide post production support as appropriate, including level 2 & 3 support for webMethods servers and application interfaces,

•Work with consultants/contractors to develop complex EAI solutions,

•Provide development expertise to enhance existing EAI solutions,

•Develop best practices for overall enterprise architecture.
REQUIREMENTS
This candidate must have:

•Minimum of five years in IT development with at least two or more years of EAI architecture experience with webMethods 6.1 or webSphere MQ 6.0 and above. In addition, experience with Java development is highly valued

•Experience in implementing mission critical and complex integrations solutions including real time and batch integrations

•Experience in programming languages, like Java, XML, C++,

•Experience working in a variety of operating environments is preferred, specifically the Windows 2000 environment,

•Strong understanding of architecture and components (TN, RI, Proxy, Cluster, Remote Servers, Repositories, etc),

•Knowledge of monitoring strategies using webMethods Manager or similar tools (preferably Tivoli) and should have working knowledge of networking, databases and JDBC connectivity,

•Experience with integration to a major ERP system is required, and J.D. Edwards or SAP is preferred,

•Good oral and written communications skills,
