Durability Test Coordination Engineer

Purpose: An automotive company is looking for an experienced Durability Test Coordination Engineer to work with diesel and combustion engines.

Job Description:

Responsible for planning and coordinating heavy duty diesel engine durability testing. Duties include writing test orders, coordinating and supporting technicians during engine build-up and teardown, tracking special engine components from instrumentation through post test measurement, reviewing engine operating data and organizing follow-up with appropriate engineers, and managing post test engine inspections. Requires significant daily interaction with Component Engineers and Test Center Technicians to clarify engine build orders, test instructions and to troubleshoot engine operation.



Skills/Experience:

Hands on mechanical experience with diesel engines.

Familiarity with testing of internal combustion engines.

Excellent organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, and Word

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with test technicians



B.S. in Engineering and at least five years of experience in testing of internal combustion engines.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
