Drafter Illustrator

Schafer Corporation is seeking a Drafter in support of the Rapid Attack Identification Detection Reporting System (RAIDRS) to develop and maintain operational, software administration and maintenance drawings/illustrations, which will support RAIDRS TOs and Training documentation developed or acquired for organic operation/maintenance. RAIDRS will enable AFSPC the capability to perform counterspace operations through Interference Detection (IDS) and Geolocation.



Responsibilities include activities of: acquisition, configuration management (CM), improvement, logistics, quality control, publication, distribution of software administration, operational and maintenance drawings and illustrations developed in support of RAIDRS Spiral -1 (RS-1).

Acquire, develop, capture for organic operations, maintenance, inspection, software administration, modification illustrations and drawings for AF system.

Support the coordination of internal and external interface activities. Develop and support status updates as required.

Draft system specific illustrations and drawings with development, update and/or rewrite of technical illustrations and drawings for the Air Force technical manuals and training program supporting tasks.

Work IAW Air Force MIL-STDs and RAIDRS policies and procedures.

Coordinate the development efforts in support of RAIDRS.
REQUIREMENTS
The position requires a bachelors degree and/or 5 "" 10 years experience in drafting for military technical documentation.



5-10 years experience with AutoCad LT, Microsoft Visio and supporting applications""Required



Experience with Air Force Technical Order and Training MIL-STDs, policies and procedures""Preferred



1-5 years knowledge of Satellite ground, mobile, interference and/or geolocation operations/maintenance ""Preferred



1-5 years knowledge of Adobe Acrobat software"" Preferred
