DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a smart candidate with at least 3+ years of experience in Java, PHP, Flash and object-oriented programming. The candidate must be a fast learner and be proficient in the following technologies in order of priority:
REQUIREMENTS


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain current production software in PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Upgrade production software as needed • Troubleshoot programming bugs and / or data inconsistencies
Develop new software in Java / Flash / Oracle 10g
Peer review engineering plans, code, production technique, etc.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:Java (Core Java, web containers, Servlets, JSP)
PHP • SQL/RDBMS: MySQL, PostgreSQL, OracleStrong Object-Oriented design and analysis
Flash/Action ScriptHTML/JavaScript
Experience with multithreaded programming
TCP/IP and general knowledge of network protocols
SOFT SKILLS: A proven record of completing large development projects on time and with a high degree of quality Ability to work independently or within a team environment Must be able to work under tight dead lines and be self directed
PLUS SKILLS:Agile development methodologies: Scrum/XP
Spring/Hibernate/J2EE
Familiarity with the following protocols: RTSP, MMS, ASX, etc
Familiarity with video players, such as: Windows Media, Real Media, Quick Time
Experience writing desktop software using MVC design pattern
