GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

'Act as overall gatekeeper for product and component data integrity within Oracle. Provide a leadership role in coordinating the input of all applicable data across organizational lines.

'Responsible for the overall accuracy and completeness of Engineering Data Control information into the part number database.

'Responsible for the overall accuracy and completeness of Engineering Control templates within the part number database. Ensure consistent templates to be used. Work closely with the Supply Chain representative to ensure compliance to proper use of templates.

'Responsible for controlling and maintaining the engineering change and documentation tracking process with emphasis on Bills of Material (BOMs), parts masters, specifications, drawings and documentation to ensure appropriate changes are documented and entered properly.

'Develop and ensure the use of consistent processes across all Life Fitness locations. Ensure that data entry is errorless and complete.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Document Control Analyst shall be able to carry out the following responsibilities:
'Provides general support for data management processes.
'Maintains document management, tracking and reporting tools. Run various reports to identify errors.
'Ensures projects are in compliance with document control policies and procedures.
'Ensures data accuracy and completeness of documentation including logs, reports and distribution.
'Manages and tracks product configuration and manufacturing/customer requirements.
'Responsible for interface between program manager, engineering, manufacturing and materials to ensure appropriate changes are documented.
'Collects and reports process performance metrics.
'Identifies, analyzes, defines, and manages all engineering data in accordance with prescribed requirements.
'Monitors and assures all data requirements are satisfied in accordance with established procedures.
'Ensures that an audit control review is performed to verify the accuracy and adequacy of data for its intended use.
'Maintains department reports, invoices, and logs.
'Serves as the focal point for all data-related questions for other departments dependent on engineering data.
'Assists the manager with information retrieval, data distribution and work/data flow management.
'Creates and revises data reports to reflect status of various engineering documentation.
'Records and controls all official engineering documentation.
'Ensure proper archiving and records retention of original documents.
'Uses available information to resolve project documentation workflow problems.
'Recommends and assists in making improvements that enhance operational quality and productivity.
'Participate in a team environment and give constructive feedback solving documentation problems.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
'Experience using Oracle database or equivalent ERP database system
'Oracle reporting/analysis tools, or equivalent
'Experience using Microsoft Access, Excel, Word
'Good organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communications.
'Multitasking. Ability to handle multiple simultaneous programs and priorities.
'Working in an extremely detailed environment
'Any direct Oracle experience a plus.
'Ability to generate custom Business Objects reports a plus.
'Knowledge of engineering specs, drawings and standards a plus.
'Experience with engineering documents preferred

EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business.
