Display Driver SW Engineer

In this position, you will be responsible for helping put together a software development kit for DHG's customers. You will also help develop display driver software for DHG's embedded silicon offerings. This includes working with NTSC and/or PAL and/or HD display formats, 2D and 3D graphics, hardware and software video decoding, documentation and other tools. Additionally you will be providing support to both internal and external customers for this software package.
job Requirements
You should possess a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong knowledge of 'C' and C++
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills
- Experience working with Linux* or Windows* CE would be an added advantage
- Experience with JPEG*, MPEG*, H.264, or VC1 would be an added advantage
- Experience with DirectX*, Direct3D*, OpenGL*, SDL*, or DirectFB* would be an added advantage
- Experience with assembly language and hardware debugging would be an added advantage
