Director of Manufacturing Engineering

Biotech manufacturer is searching for a strong leader with prior experience directing a department in the same or similar industry. Candidate must know the entire management cycle, not simply the facilities segment.
REQUIREMENTS
• Conduct and manage complex engineering and technical support projects.
• Develop formal project plans such as the proposed technical approach, budget, and key milestone completion dates for all assigned projects and prepare departmental budgets, control expenditures to stay within spending limits.
• Prepare technical reports, analysis, recommendations,and presentations.
• 10+ years in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in medical device, pharmaceutical or other FDA areas.
•Exp. with Lean, Six Sigma, Taguchi helpful
• Ability to manage and coach others to manage complex projects is required.
• Previous working knowledge of SAP or equivalent system is a plus.
