Director Quality Control

The Director of Quality Control will be responsible to coordinate the chemistry, microbiology, the in=process control activities as well as acting as a liaison between quality control and the managers responsible for quality assurance and manufacturing.

Write, revise and approve methodologies for the quality control laboratories. Coordinate daily testing schedules. Notify laboratory supervisors of incoming materials for sampling. Disposition of raw materials and finished product. Review off site testing results prior to release. Provide raining and assistance to analysts and lab supervisors as needed. Approve lab equipment and materials purchased. Establish quality related SOP's as necessary. Assist QA Manager in GMP issues as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
Four year degree in Chemistry or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience.
6-8 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
Knowledge of cGMP Guidelines.
Experience with USP testing methodologies and lab instrumentation.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HPLC, SPECTROSCOPY, WET CHEMISTRY, METHOD DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION, WATER ANALYSIS AND PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT TESTING.
