Diesel Mechanic

Purpose: Aerotek Automotive is currently seeking a Diesel Technician for a long term open-ended contract position.



This technician will be responsible for development based engineering garage support. They will perform various mechanical projects on diesel engines including diagnosis, repair, modifications, enhancements, partial teardown and rebuild in order to prepare the engines for tests. They will also be working with instrumentation, diesel engine, powertrain and MS Word.



Candidates for this position MUST have at least four years of experience, be proficient with diesel engines and have some MS Word computer skills. Candidates for this position will be required to pass a hair follicle drug test and background check.



This is a long term positions. Candidates must be shift flexible.
