Diamond Point Turning Engineer

Purpose: An electro-optical manufacturing company in Dallas is needing a Diamond Point Turning Process Engineer immediately. Relocation is an option.

This position provides process engineering support to our diamond turning operation including process troubleshooting, metrology support, CNC programming, process documentation, operator mentoring/training, process development, DPT equipment troubleshooting support, and conceptual tooling design.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years direct engineering support of diamond point turning operations, or equivalent experience/exposure to precision machining and/or diamond point machining in a research or laboratory environment.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science Discipline, preferred degree Mechanical Engineering or Precision Engineering. Master?s Degree is a plus.
Must be able to obtain DOD clearance and be a U.S. Citizen.
