Diagnostic Process Engineer

Responsibilities: A diagnostic company in north Orange County is looking for a candidate to be responsible for evaluating and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve product consistency and to increase productivity. This role is also responsible for performing validations on production equipment as necessary and supports all applicable regulations including but not limited to FDA, ISO, and CMD/CAS requirements. Responsibilities include: Work with Production and Technical Support personnel to identify, isolate and correct technical challenges for improving product reproducibility. Improve production processes to reduce production costs and decrease scrap. Coordinate and supervise required validations of processes and equipment. Participate in automation of processes. Improve and implement new processes. Maintain and increase work flow. Interact with Production and QC/QA personnel. The candidate will be responsible for performing assigned tasks in accordance with applicable safety regulations and instructions, as well as correcting unsafe work habits and practices and/or bringing to the attention of the Safety Team or a supervisor any practice or condition that may be detrimental to the safety and health of the employees. This person has a responsibility to cooperate in all safety or health-related programs and assist in solving safety and health problems.
