At our Boulder, Colorado facility, our continued growth has caused the need for a Device Scientist/Engineer who is highly competent in developing electronic products and can provide technical leadership in design/fabrication/test of power RF components based on SiC technology. One key attribute we seek for this position is the ability to work well with a virtual and real-time multi-discipline engineering team towards the development of a wide range of RF products.
REQUIREMENTS

* Live in/near, or are able to live near/in, Boulder, Colorado in the immediate near future, and also has the desire and ability to “possibly” relocate to Bend, Oregon thereafter.
*BS in Electrical Engineering
*At least 5 years of recent semiconductor industry engineering experience.
*At least 2 years of recent “hands-on” semiconductor industry engineering experience in designing, modeling, and simulating discrete power semiconductor components.
*At least 2 years of recent “hands-on” semiconductor industry engineering experience in any ONE of the following:
•RF bipolar
•Field effect transistors
*At least 2 years of recent “hands-on” semiconductor industry engineering experience performing both DC and RF testing “including” small signal s-parameter “and” large signal load-pull characterization.
*The legal right to work in the U.S.
*Willingness and ability to travel nationally approximately 10% of the year
*Works well independently and as a team member.
*Has outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ideally, the candidate we seek has all or some of these “preferences” (not mandatory requirements):
1.Has a MS in Electrical Engineering.
2.Has a PhD. in Electrical Engineering
3.Has at least 2 years of recent “hands-on” semiconductor industry engineering experience with any ONE of the following:
•Parametric Extraction
•Thermal Analysis
•Design/Test of internal Tuning Circuits
•Amplifier text fixtures
•Hybrid Circuit Assemblies
4.Has at least 2 years of recent “hands-on” semiconductor industry engineering experience with any ONE of the functions listed having to do with the device fabrication process:
•Designing
•Planning
•Guiding the Device Fabrication Process
