The HomeScape ASP platform supports both new construction and resale real estate listing content, as well as advertising products customized by local online newspaper websites for their customers. Major Responsibilities/Project:
The Developer/Automation Engineer will be responsible for assisting the QA and development teams in building testing tool solutions. This is a development role that reports into the QA team and will be the primary development resource for the QA team. In addition to building test automation, this role will be responsible for test operations, analyzing results and providing feedback to the development and QA teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Developer/QA Automation Engineer

Qualifications:
1-2 years of on the job or equivalent school experience in QA, software development and/or test automation with a solid understanding of technical and software development concepts.
Knowledge of structured development, QA, and software testing methodologies; understanding of repeatable processes and the different types of testing.
Ability to work in a professional team environment.
Bachelors degree preferred but not required, preferably Computer Science or Engineering
Prior software development experience is desired.
Hands on development experience with scripting languages is required - Perl, VBA, Ruby and/or other open source languages is preferred.
Familiarity with XML and SOA/web service based applications.
Experience testing/developing (Java/C++) both data driven and Internet-based applications is a plus.
Working knowledge of SQL and ability to write SQL for testing data management tools & processes
