We are seeking a DEVELOPER/ANALYST for our Client Services Engineering team for our Princeton, New Jersey headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities:The Senior Developer/Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, design, documentation, development, and testing of custom application service solutions that enhance our core business applications and strengthen customer relationships.In particular, the Senior Developer will design, develop and maintain interfaces to/from external client systems, custom reporting solutions and data uploads.The Senior Developer/Analyst will create data requirements and mapping specifications and participate in and/or perform the requirements, specifications and design-gathering/generation.The Senior Developer/Analyst will prepare and execute development and test plans, process work orders/service requests, research customer questions, verify reported problems and work through Client Services personnel to resolve software issues in a timely manner.PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONSThe Client Service Developer/Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, documentation, development and testing of custom application service solutions that enhance our core business applications and strengthen customer relationships. This includes interfaces to/from external client systems, custom reporting solutions and data uploads. To be successful a candidate must successfully collaborate with customers, sales and account managers, and engineers to define business and functional specifications, perform the development and testing of projects to meet internal and external requirements and timelines and create data requirements and mapping specifications. 4-year COLLEGE DEGREE IS REQUIREDMASTER'S DEGREE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IS HIGHLY PREFERREDThe ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical customers and staffThis requires at least 5+ years of business analysis or technical consulting experience, object oriented analysis and design and structured software development methodologiesAlso, the Senior Developer must have at least 5 to 7 years of professional experience with:ASP, ASP.NET, VB Script, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML and T-SQLDatabase development including the ability to create SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, triggers, user defined functions, complex queries and/or data transformation packagesSoftware maintenance experience, including handling code management and documentation skills, including developing requirements specs, commenting code and creating unit test plansGrasp of formal software development lifecycle fundamentals
